Pvt company newly incorporated, 5 employees joined in sept ,
employees worked for more than 6 months
whether Payment of gratuity act applicable???

Suppose out of 5, 2 employees appointed contract basis whats the status

Appointment of an employee on contract basis makes no difference for applicability of PGA as there is no distinction on the basis of category of employee in the Act.

Irrespective of the fact that those 5 employees are on regular basis or on contract, the Payment of Gratuity is applicable.
