I am in delhi and a case is filed against me in kerala.
As per my lawyer, summon has been issue, and i did not receive the summon so i could not attend the court proceeding neither my lawyer was aware of it earlier.
next hearing is in feb mid , is possible to get copy of chargesheet before attending the court in feb.
what is the procedure of the same.

your advocate can file application for certified copy of charge sheet.

Copy of charge-sheet shall be given to you free of cost when you shall appear there. Until summon is issued, you need not appear there.

your advocate may take the certified copy of the charge sheet. if you are not enlarged on bail, your advocate is unable to get the original copy of the charge sheet. only he may get the certified copy of the charge sheet by filing the III party application

Also, check records, hope no NBW were issued as summons were not delivered.

You had not hired any advocate or a case filed against you in Kerala.
The moment you file your VP, you have to appear, otherwise court will issue Warrant against you.
so you should not have advocate for this case until you get Summon.
Advocate can manage to get a copy of Charge Sheet. As Sankar says " you can get for copy" U R Interested in contents / wordings of cs, not certified TC.
Let them break their head & leg to summon you from Kerala to Delhi. You can buy time this way. It also cool down matter, and you can decide at ease.

what is VP?
and i guess CS is chargesheet, what is certifed TC
Can nbw be issued even if there is no POD of summon to accused

If you personally attend the court and ask for copy even before the next date, the charge sheet may be given to you.
Otherwise wait till the next date.

VP= Vakalatnama
certifed TC= Certified True Copy
Once you file VP, you helped Complainant , doing his difficult job by yourself./
You don't need TC at this stage. nor to file VP.
Do not file VP until Summon is served
Be informed of Next Date, contents of all Doc & CS& Be Prepared for your Defense, but Let Compl Struggle from Kerala to Delhi to serve Summon, before he start harassing you travelling from Delhi to Kerala.
