Change of name after marriage

Is it necessary to apply for change of name in all my documents like Driving Licence, PAN Card, Office Service Book, Acedemic Certificates etc, if i want to add my husband's surname with my maiden name. Please tell me

IF YOU CHANGED YOU NAME AFTER MARRIAGE IT MUST BE EFFECTED IN ALL DOCUMENTS MOE IMPORTANTLY IN PASSPORT, D.L. , PAN, VOTER ID IT IS ENOUGH

yes if you want to add your husband surname you have to change the name in your driving licence PAN card , banks . no need to change in your academic certifcates
