if show cause notice has been issued to you it must be mentioning provisions of law under which it wAS sent .
in reply to show cuase notice you have to deny all the allegations made therein .
please contact a local lawyer .reply to scn and request for personal hearing in the matter

I donot know, which show cause, you are referring. But in general, in the absence of any rules or administrative orders of competences authority, usually power to issue show cause is vested in appointing authority. However, the same can be delegated to any other authority Superior to the person, whom show cause notice is issued. by the competent authority in writing. So far as mentioning of rule is concerned it is not mandatory to mention the particular rule but what is mandatory, the act on which show cause is based must be included in rues dealing with the subject.

Dear Vaishalee,
Show cause notice for what and what type of system from which the registrar/ Dy. Registrar intend to throw you out?
In fact, your query is not clear in so far as your profile shows you as a student, while your query seems to be aimed at your appointing authority, as if you are an employee of some organisation. Further, if you are an employee, you have have not indicated whether it is a University, a court of law, a Government Department or some other autonomous body.
Moreover, your query has been labeled to pertain to Civil Law (not service/labour law), which seems to be a wrong category in which posted.
So, what to guess for rendering correct opinion?
Please remember, any wild query attracts merely contradictory and confusing solutions.
