A person has become inable to sign documents due to fracture. Neither he can put thumb nor he sign. How can he sign the bank documents and company papers. Can he prepare a GPA in favour of his daughter to sign bank and company documents. If yes, is it compulsory to register or notarised will serve the purpose. Any other suggestion?

In your query, you first made a mention that he cannot put even his thumb impresssion, now you want to know whether he can put thumb impression. This diversion is not understood.
However, practice differs from bank to bank. You would need to consult the particular bank where the account stands. Definitely, the bank authorities would try to help your company in providing some workable solution.

Appending Signatures to a document is one of the ways a document can be executed. What happens in cases where a man has both hands amputated. In this exceptional case the GPA can be orally executed in front of the Sub-Registrar as a special case thumb impression of hand or foot can be appended, obviously if it happens before the Subregistrar he would be satisfied as to the execution and would register the same.

If right hand is fractured and thus person is unable to put his sign or thumb impression then the registrar is empowered to register POA with the sign or thumb impression of that person with left hand specifically mentioning therein the circumstances which made this change.
