police registered the case(ipc 376,506,468,420,sc@st act 3(1)(xii)) but since 2 months they are not arrested that accused.DSP suggested us that this case will be closed at the time of investigation.accused has political power so DSP suppoting the accused.so what i will do.can i file writ on the high court.pls give me solution sir.

In a case like this filing a writ petition in the High Court is the only remedy to make the police accountable.

You can file Writ but you can not pray for mere arrest only. It is the discretion of Police and you will have to satisfy the court first for his arrest only and not for proper investigation.

It shall be good to await till filing of the closure report. You shall be duly given notice at that time and you can wirte your dissenting note and may pray to continue it as a private complaint and once this is done, you shall have to get recorded your statement and case shall run accordingly.
