Is aibe exam mandatory for the student who cleared their finals in 2012.

Dear All,
Please let me know that weather All India Bar Council Exam is mandatory for the law student, cleared finals in 2012, to practice as a lawyer in India.

Yes, you have to clear exam of All India Bar Council Exam, if you wish to practice.

Thanks,But my one of my seniors told me that its not mandatory as Lawyers Act 1961 no where says that.
Please provide details onthis regards.
