Prasar Bharti throughout without any notice

Respected Sir, we are working in prasar bharti since last 4 years on a contract by BECIL.as per contract rules they intimate us before one month notice but sir they dont intimate us and CEO of prasar bharti make a policy that after 31 oct 2012 prasar bharti stop any payment of becil contractual employees working at various doordarshan kendras.Respected Sir i am telling you that many capital centers and reginol centers,even DD NEWS is working by Becil contractual employees .sir they told that they will screening again and if candidate is able they give him one year contrat.sir when we selected in 2008 we faced a 5 members cometee.sir why are they repeating again and if they are repeating process why they give us contract while 14000 posts are vacant in doordarshan. sir every year a four members cometee marking our work and sending report to prasar bharti.sir if we are not able for work,how are we working last 4 years.sir please suggest us for better.thanking you.

You are contractual employee. You have no legal right to continue in the employment after contract is over. On the other hand it also illegal on the part of employer to take work on regular posts through contractual employee. In case. You can challenge their action in High Court as well as in CAT and can pray for continuance of your employment till regular employee is recruited through proper selection process. You can also seek your preferential rights and relaxation in age on the selection on the basis of your previous working and seniority But you have to appear in selection process.
