My brother is in depression.

HMA13,DV,125crpc,498a and seems 406 is in pipeline. We family member do not want him to attend court because of depression.
Is this possible on behalf of him any other family member attend all 4 cases.
What formalities are required for doing this?
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 11 June 2013
Criminal cases are to be attended by the accused in person or get specific permission of the court if court agrees or Court may allow for few hearings.

Permission in 498A case is required but there is no necessity to attend in person in all other cases. Anyone can attend the court including the lawyer in those cases.
