Dv case maintainence amount

498A and DV case both are running parallel
In DV case she asked for 20000 rs/mnt maintence may I know how much can court pass order as my salary is 60000/mnth.
I dont want to give her single penny she left the home her self and now to enjoy her life she is asking that much money which is totaly wrong and brutal.
Pls advice

Defending such cases is complicated affair.
Avoid confronting head on because in normal course monthly money will be granted in relation to your salary.
1) You should search evidence for effective counter offense.
2) You can show that you want to keep her and she left for no reason. If you can prove this no monthly can be granted.
You can go in revision and appeal on this point alone and exhaust the opponent.
THIS STRATEGY WILL ONLY WORK.

you want to avoid paying maintenance . inform the court that you want your wife to stay with you . if wife is not working court may award her maintenance . file for RCR if you want her back

Court shall definitely award maintenance to your wife in consonance to your salary income if she is not capable to maintain her. You can take the plea as mentioned in your query but that shall not work.
