Divorce & problem creating wife

I am of 40 years of age. My wife had deserted me 6 years ago. The divorce case under cruelty and desertion is going on for last 3 years. During the progress of the case my wife had made false allegations of physical and mental torture to her by me and my parents which could not be proved. Now she is requesting me to withdraw the case and she wants to come back to me. Knowing her attitude and the agony she had caused us by false allegations, we are really scared of her coming back to our home. I have few queries.
1. If I still go for divorce, is my case still strong ?
2. If I withdraw the case how can we protect us against such false allegations in future?
Please advise !

1. Yes if you prove the cruelties perpetrated by her.
2.No way.
The marital relationship depend upon sheer trust. No paper work can save a marriage.
If you are serious then go for it for a final try.

That all depends upon the reasons for her behaviour. Whether the false allegations made against you and your parents are prompted by any others. Whether you have any children out of this marriage? You have to probe for the reasons in the change of her mind. For this the common known people can help you. Change is eminent in every body. Do not think that your wife will behave again in such a way. You are 40 - apparently not having kids. You can not immediately go for marriage till the divorce case is settled. Instead if a reasonable risk is taken, you can start your life from right now. Do not concentrate only on the reasons of her behaviour. Take stock things - your behaviour, your parents behaviour, promptings behind her for such behaviour and all.
