Part time working hrs

i recently joined a bpo company serco as a part timer CSA .My organization says to work for continuously for 5 hrs without any break is it possible to complain sumwere against such a behavior of the organization other then in the organzation itself. i have talk with my manager and as well as floor manager both of us told me if u have to work you have to follow this rule only as others are follow. as for me this is against the basic rights of human being. please suggest me sum solution

The part time job would be as per agreement on number of hours you have agreed with this BPO.

BPO are covered by (Name of the State) Shops and commercial Establishments Act, that was enacted to govern the service conditions of employee's working in establishments covered by this Act........and standing orders might be applicable.

Look into the Act as in your state and find out after how many hours a break has to be given.

The BPO owner/employer/managers/HR personnel recruited in the company have to follow the provisions/clauses/sections of the Act and can not draft any rules that violate the Act..............

Check with employee's/trade unions leaders...................

If you are not satisfied change the employer.
