Should a father through will deprives his son/daughter from getting a share in property ? if so ,is it legal and fair to do so? i think a person has no right or control over his wealth after death.
A person has no control and use of wealth after his death.Doing so will deprive his progeny source of lively hood and creat enemity among his own offsprings

Real Nature of Issue Not Explained.A self Acquired Property would be always at their Disposal. If No Will was made during their Life time the Legal Heirs Would get the Property.

It is guessed that the owner is muslim.
You may check as per faith/sect/sub-sect how much % can be given by WILL.

Nothing wrong, nothing illegal, if a father disposes his own property at his sweet will, he likes to dispose of in any manner, even after his death through will written in his life time. You will also be free to do so and debar your own children from your own earned property.

If it is self acquired property, it can be disposed at the discretion of your father.

If you belong to Muslim by religion, as per muslim personal law, the testator cannot bequeath the entire property to the beneficiary, he has bequeath only 1/3rd of the property, rest of the property shall devolve on the descendant/legal heirs proportionately as per their entitlement. The so called Will is invalid in the eyes of law.
