gift deed acceptance

Dear sir my problem is that my dad has made an family arrangement in that our sister was agreed to receive property of 6000square feet through gift deed as property was on my dads name property is ancestral out of 80000 square feet she agreed to receive 6000 but now she is telling she will claim partation and she dont want that gift deed

gift is complete when accepted by donee. your sister is entitled for her share in your father property. she can claim for it.

She cannot claim more property if your father is alive and the family settlement property was his self acquired properties. However if it was ancestral property she is entitled to a share equal to that of your father and yourself as a coparcener. If she stakes claim then she has to be given her entitled share.
