Sir,
My father was died in an accident(by mettupalayam govt ambulance)in 2005.It was filed and complained with one lawyer.He took the case last 5 years.In 2005 itself,the court announced some amount.But now itself didn't get that amount sir.The lawyer said the hospital appealed that's only because of delay.Finally,you get the interest of that amount itself.we are confusing,so please help me in this case.

they are sanctioned some amount in 2005 sir.but now itself didn't get it,our lawyer said they have appealed in high court,but in this case registered in 2005.

Even if appeal has been filed by respondents against the award announced by MACT then also you are entitled for the grant of at least 25% amount of award. Contact some other lawyer if your lawyer is not working properly or satisfactorily.

Mr. sravan, definately it is only a story,if u are not believing better to approach another reliable advocate to get proper relief,by persuing relevent records in court.

If appeal is pending then you wont get the amount till the disposal of the appeal. You will get the interest as per the lower court order.
You make an enquiry while admitting the case usually court directs the appellants to deposit some of the amount. If amount is deposited in the court then you can withdraw that amount.
