hi,
i ma rahul verma.
i aaplied for passport in july 2010 in tatkal scheme. i got my passport in 15 days, but at the time of police verification, i was absent. they sent the documnets back to bhopal passport office. Is there any process for re verification. or my passport get rejected.

in passport status site it shows

you can approach the local police and ascertain the formality to reverify

You can write to the passport authorities regarding this and ask for verification for the 2nd time. But, normally the police will not return the docs in their first attempt.
