Is the photostate copy of the certified copy of the 'judgement'is admissable as evidence or not?

Yes It can be admitted in evidence. There is no bar. it is covered by Sec.65 of the Indian Evidence Act.

Mr. Subramanian. such copy is required to be compared otherwise it is not admissible even under section 65 of Evidence Act.

When a Certified copy of the Judgment is available how the Xerox copy of the Judgment can be taken on record ! Xerox copy of Certified copy is also to be treated as Xerox copy - not any more.

yes. xerox copy is not admissible. certified copy is required.

Only Certified copies are admissible. Photostate copy is not admissible.

I agree that xerox copy of certified copy of judgement is not admissible in evidence.

Secondary evidence is admissible only when the primary evidence could not be produced. But the xerox copy of the court is not admissible, because the certified copy can be obtained from the court.
