Hi, A fraudulant transaction has been done on my Manhattan credit card for Rs. 2200/- and Rs. 1820/-. Amounts are paid to MTNL Mumbai and Reliance Energy Mumbai respectively. I have raised a dispute with the bank and also planning to file a police complaint about the same of my residence area. I need to know actually what should I do as I hadn't came across such situation ever. Please guide me. Regards, Mohammed.

You hae alkready taken the riight step. Now if the Bank insists you to make the payment then you could complain with the Ombudsman as well.

don't plan to lodge complaint. File complaint immediately in order to get reliefs. because after 50 days of transaction the bank will impose penalty charges for the same.

in your case police complaint will not be correct option. just conatct with your bankers.. just give your written representation. if any problem mean face your case before the consumer forum.

If it is a simple wrong entry it will be reversed by the bank. If you feel that some body had misused the card, cheque with the banker, who had signed in the charge slip.
Even after this it shows some mischief, you can prefer a police complaint.
