Dear Sir
Its regarding WILL. My mother they are Five sisters and One brother and all of them are married and having kids too. My Grandfather ( My mom's dad ), willing to write WILL in my favor. Regarding the same, I am having few queries. They are as follows :-
1. What are the points to be written in WILL, to avoid any future hindrances.
2. Is it written on a plain sheet or Stamp Paper? If its on stamp paper, for how much amount the stamp paper, should be?
3. Can I publish the WILL in Local newspaper and also in Government gazette too.
Is it possible for you to send me the draft of the WILL (if you have any)
Kindly help me with the same.
Thanks

Ans. Clarify whether the properties are self acquired or ancestral.
Further, regarding the specific queries,
1. What are the points to be written in WILL, to avoid any future hindrances.
Ans. Use of technical terminology is not required, the will can be in plain simple language which is unambigious and conveys the true intentions of the testator.
2. Is it written on a plain sheet or Stamp Paper? If its on stamp paper, for how much amount the stamp paper, should be?
Ans. A will is written on a simple plain paper, there is no need of NJ stamp paper.
3. Can I publish the WILL in Local newspaper and also in Government gazette too.
Ans. Publication is not prescribed under law, however, the will can be registered. There is no provision in law to publish the will in a gazzette.
Is it possible for you to send me the draft of the WILL (if you have any)
Ans.PFA.... this is only a draft and needs to be prepared under guidance of an expert to avoid legal infirmities.
