In what circumstances or cases an accused can be sentenced to "solitary" confinement? Is this kind of sentencing is not violation human rights ? Is it acceptable to Society these day ?If not why the relevant provisions be not scrapped from the Code ?Your Expert comments please.......????

A person like Kasab. Can you think that his solitary confinement is wrong or volation of human right. Did he think this while firing at 157 who died that day at CST.

Dear EXPERTS,in fact I wanted to learn from your experience whether there are provisions for Solitary Confinement in Law? If yes what are those ? I never wished to enter into a commentary on the issue so that I am advised to take up the matter with Legislatures.But why then I take up the matter with the Legislatures when there a volley of X-perts here in this friendly & benevolent CLUB.....LAWYERS' CLUB,eh ?
Why shall I agitate with Legislatures,when Ss.73 & 74 Penal Code prescribe provision for SOLITARY CONFINEMENT with all reasonable restrictions?
My qn is v.simple.
Regarding Kasab or the like hard core or professional killers,fidaayans,Dons,Gangsters & those who have made the lives of innocent and common ppl a Hell,don't deserve Humane treatment.Keeping then in Solitary Confinement is NOT violation of human rights.But my friend for the last may years KASAB is in JUDICIAL LOCK-UP & NOT A CONVICT to be kept in S/C.
I have lots more expectation from X-pet friends in this Forum.Plz Keep up.
