I GOT FIXED DEPOSIT OF 35000 OF PANJON FARMA WHICH MATURED ON NOV 2010.THE CO GAVE POST DATED CHEQUE.BUT IT WAS DISHONERED IN DEC2010,MY AGENT IS TELLING WAIT FOR SOME TIME.SINCE SIX MONTH I M WAITING.WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?CAN I GO LEGAL NOW?WILL IT BE EXPENSIVE?

you can made a cheating complaint at police station, stating that aforesaid reason, same time you cannot file NI case against him, because expire of the date.

I M STAYING IN MUMBAI.PANJON FARMA CO IS AT INDORE.MAY I HAVE TO GO TO INDORE FOR COMPLAINT OR IS IT BETTER TO GO FOR CIVIL COURT?

if cheque issued can still be presented and date is not barred present it once again for collection,and if it re bounces,issue a legal notice with help of a lawyer calling the co.to pay you amount of cheque within 15days from the date of service failing which file a complaint u/s 138 NIA.or choose to proceed as advised by Expert : M.Sheik Mohammed Ali.Engage a local lawyer as it would not be possible for you to proceed despite our advises as these are too technical things that only practicing lawyers having experience in the matter can handle.
