Are you going to file the partition suit yourself or through a lawyer. If through a lawyer, is he not telling you? In any case, you can obtain a copy of the relevant Act either from the High Court premises or from M/s. Seetaraman & Co., at Mylapore.

Sir, Please let me know : Plaintiff put-up the case of partition suit with fee's under section 37-2 = Rs.750, and under act 23 for Maintenance = Rs.4500, when I file the statement as a Defendant what should be the fee's payable ?, But my lawer mentioned the Court fees for Partition suit filed by plaintiff should be on section 37-1,( not as per 37-2 ), Value of partition clime by plaintiff is about 12L.. Thanks for your guidance please.

why you do not rely on your advocate engaged in your case??????
In matters of court fees states have their own law and they differ from state to state and state's law are not so easily available on net that makes almost impossible for one practicing in another state to post a right answer.

Try understand our constraints too.
