Hello

At the time of purchasing property builder charges service taxes and vat on agreement cost price provided the building is under constructed is it true ?

Builder is bound to charge service tax and get it deposit with State Exchequer as this service has now come within the ambit of service tax with effect from financial year 2009-10.

I would like to add on reply of makkad Sir that on actual payment received by Builder from customer and before taking CC.
