With the strong misuse of 498A in the current scenario even if the male is innocent at times. Is their any way where a person can have any kind of safe guard before the marriage to the same or will he be always punished and exhorted money even if he is innocent.

if one person is really hrassed by wife and In-laws, file a complaint against them for extortion of money u/s 383-384 IPC before filling Dowery, Hrassment cases by them.
In indian Legal System the women Have very strong posistion

we have to bear OUR BAD LAWS TOO. ONLY HERE, IF INNOCENT, [*AND IN 99% CASES IT IS PROVED, HUSBAND AND HIS FAMILY ARE INNOCENT,*] despite the fact, they have to suffer. There is no safeguard, it seems not to marry is safeguard.
but D V act covers live in relationship also, so BE AWAY FROM FEMALE is the only SAFEGUAD, it seems.
