Mr. A died interstate, leaving behind 2 sons and wife. i understand that they will get equal shares but what are the various legal documents that need to be signed by the legal heirs to receive their equal share?

is the immoveable property in question a flat in a cooperative society?
otr is it an independent bungalow . ?
if it is a flat and nomination made by deceased an application for transfer hasto be made to society for transfer of share . furnish indemnity bond . execute the undertakings on stamp paper .

Documents for each type of property are different. If the deceased was having bank balance then documents are required as per demand of banker. If the property was agricultural land then the procedure is different than the house situated within municipal limit.

Succession certificate can be obtained in either favoring one of the heirs or jointly by applying to court.
If it is to any single person, NoC has to be obtained from other heirs.
