Dear experts, the querist has not stated that he inherited through will.
I think he is asking regarding an ancestral property.

Dear Rajkumar Sir,
What i understood from the query is that the querist inherited the property and he is asking whether he can transfer it by way of will.
Nowhere it is mentioned that he got the property by way of will. That is why i sought clarification.

Dear Mr.Saravanamuthu,
Ancestral property cannot be transfered through will, since all the legal heir have equal right on the property.

Dear Mr. Saravanamuthu,
You have given incomplete information and therefore you will only get incomplete answers!
You have to indicate the history of the property like
(i) as to who owned it first
(ii) when (the year) it passed on to the other person
(iii) whether the original owner was alive when (ii) took place etc. etc.
Similarly, how the property passed on from the person at (ii) to some other person, when, in what circumstances etc.
Without knowing these things, it is very difficult to give any answer. Even if any answer is given it will hardly be of any use to you.
