Respected lawyers,
Good evening sir,at presently i am doing my law study.
I want to ask that why impersonation in exam is considered as an offence in IPC where as a cheating in exam is not!

Impersonating, not only in exams, but anywhere, with a dishonest intention is an offence triable under the IPC.
Cheating in exams are petty offences which are governed as per the rules and regulations of the concerned uniersity and institutions.

Even cheating in examination is failure to obey the lawful command of Public Servant, can also be.

It has to be seen that Cheating as defined in IPC is about fraudulantly getting property.
Also, cheating in exams was made a Non-Bailable Offence by SP Government in UP, that was later revoked.

thank u sir that u have given ur time to my question.you told that cheat is a pitty offence but it is a malpractice and does university puts cheater behind the bar for at least some days.
To Sudhir sir,
sir,i am not able to understand what u told so please if possible simplify it.
