Please let me know the stamp duty rate in mumbai for promissory note otherwise than on demand
whether it is same as Bill of exchange or one fifth of the duty as applicable to bill of exchange

It shall be better to get the latest knowledge from the office of the registrar of your area. The rates have been revised from 01.04.2012.
