Hello Sir !!
I am Ex- Employee of Ernst and Young - Mumbai(2008-2011). I am a Nepali Citizen.I worked with that entity for 2.5 years. After resignation from the service i was told that PF regulation/ACT has got changed in 2010 and as per the new rule i can withdraw my accumulated balance on the early of the following date:
a) Attaining 58 years or
b) Death..
My query is waiting till 58 years is quite long. Is there any way out to encash the PF balance.
Waiting for response.

You can claim your PF after 2 months from the date of leaving your job. The statement of 58 years is wrong and you are misdirected.

Amended para 69 (under para 83 of Employees’ Provident Fund Scheme, 1952), Also suggests like this. Amendment is there in 2008. But are there any way out !!

you can get the pf balance transferred in case of joining some other jobs.
