Sir,
After what time father can claim for custody of male baby & female baby respectively.

Sir,
I was told by my advocate it is 7 years for boy & for girl it is when she attains puberty age that is approximately 12

Yes Mr.Khan you've been rightly informed, if you are Sunni that's what the legal position is, if you are a shia then it's 2 for a boy and 7 for a girl. But let me tell you this is not an absolute preposition. If the mother cannot be entrusted with custody for whatever reason, other female relatives are entitled before husband.

Mr.Nanda possibily mistook it for a Hindu Law problem.

The rights of parties in accordance to age has little meaning, the welfare of the child is of paramount consideration.

Yah I am Sunni Muslim,so plz give me age factor details for custody of boy & girl.
