yes they can subject that it is not irrevocable power of attorney
Adv.R.P.Chugh (Expert) 12 June 2012
Merely by non user a POA is not revoked - a POA is normally revoked by :-

1) Death/Insanity/Incapacity of the Principal/Agent;
2) By Notice;
3) By Completion;
4) Breach of Agency.
R.K Nanda (Expert) 12 June 2012
Agree with Bharat Chugh.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 13 June 2012
Registration has nothing to do with revocation.
Non registered POA can be revoked by the principal at his will unless the agency is coupled with interest.
R Trivedi (Expert) 13 June 2012
If the Power of Attorney is given to settle certain consideration in favor of Attorney, then it cannot be revoked. A general Power of Attorney given to carry out certain act on behalf of the principal, can be revoked.

Nothing left to be added.
