Dear Mr.Aggarwal,
This is a big problem in tenancies created way back. Answer the following questions to get a solution :-
1. Was there any agreement ?
2. Does it subsist or in other words was it renewed ?
3. If any, Was it registered ?
4. Which State is the property located in ?
5. The Rent amount per month ?
6. How is it paid ?
7. Who is the owner of the property at present - as per the records ?

Issue quit notice if tenancy subsist as per state Rent Act or Under Sec 106 of Transfer of Property Act and then file eviction petition/suit as the case may be.
