Acquired or heriditary property

Property purchased by the husband from his savings and registered the property in the name of his wife. Does it become an acquired property or heriditary property for the wife. What is the status of the property for the children when the mother is alive ?

In her life time the mother is the absolute owner. It is her self acquired property, with nobody having a right in her lifetime.
