Entry of name in property extract.

law-experts,
If the persons name is to be entered in the properties rights of record extract, as per the "will" what the procedure & how many days it takes to get name entered in property extract card, and also if any notice or intimation is given by the thalati's office whether the intimation-letter sent by the office to us, is to be signed and sent back to them or it is just an intimation letter to us. kindly clarify the matter. whether our signature in intimation letter sent by them is must to those office people; and I have to send that intimation letter back to there office by signing it.

One needs to move an application for mutation
before concerned authority along with the will and needs to prove the will in case will has not been got probated but in presidency cities all of first one is legally obliged to get the will probated.
If the case is uncontested a month or two is sufficient time to get order of mutation.
Every notice sent by court has a counter foil returnable to court by the process server and needs to be signed by party receiving it.
In case of service by registered post the acknowledgement is got signed by postman as proof of delivery.

Thank you sir,
I got intimation notice from the Thalati's office, whether I have to sign & send it back addressing to his office. If I don't send that intimation letter, whether the name- entry in property extract not possible? kindly clarify me.
