He worked as a junior assistant in Govt School of Deaf and Dumb at Bapatla, Guntur Dt. Still he have more years of service. As my mother is also an employee in medical department, is she eligible to get the pension and other benefits? If not, who are eligible for the benefits of my father? is my father's mother( my grandmother) is eligible to get the benefits and pension? We are two children(me and brother) for my parents. I am an unemployed girl(22yr). As my mother is a government employee can we to get my father job? Or can we apply for my father job? Could you please help me out of my queries. And i also want to know the G.O. in which it is mentioned. Waiting for your reply.

As my mother is also an employee in medical department, is she eligible to get the pension and other benefits?

Ans : Certainly and surely. She gets the pension as long as she is alive even when she starts getting her own pension. Some persons under misconception may guide you otherwise.

If not, who are eligible for the benefits of my father?

Ans : Your mother.

is my father's mother( my grandmother) is eligible to get the benefits and pension?

Ans : No.

We are two children(me and brother) for my parents. I am an unemployed girl(22yr). As my mother is a government employee can we to get my father job? Or can we apply for my father job?

Ans : Chances are bleak as your family is not on read due to your mother’s salary and the interest of the terminal benefits of your father.

Such jobs are given only out of 5% of Class III&IV posts (in direct recruitment quota) and comparative merit of the applicants is assessed. Remember reservation beyond 50% is not allowed as per Supreme Court guidelines. The Govt sector jobs are already reserved to the extent of 50% (15 SC+ 27 OBC + 7 ST). Therefore even that 5% is to be taken from the proportionately by vertical reservation from the respective share of Sc/ST/OBC/gen category posts depending upon the category of the applicant. That being the case the share if gen candidate is 5% of 50% = 2.5% out of total Class III&IV posts (in direct recruitment quota) , and OBC it is 5% of 27% = 1.25% out of total Class III&IV posts (in direct recruitment quota) , for SC 5% of 15% = .75% out of total Class III&IV posts (in direct recruitment quota) , and for ST it will be 5% of 7.5% = 38% out of total Class III&IV posts. No job can be offered beyond that limit even if the applicants are large number. The sots reserved for Handicapped, ex-servicemen and sports persons are also allocated in the same manner to ensure that horizontal reservation does not exceed 50%. So comparative merit is drawn based on the indignant condition of each family.

Sir thank you so much for your valuable reply. I have small doubt that if govt consider caste based reservation, then me and my brother are SC candidates and my mother BC-D(as my parents did intercaste marriage). Even then, are there any chances to inherit my father job?
Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Expert) 19 September 2012
In case your father was SC then you have SC status regardless of mother being BC. No confusion.

First of all rather than disappointment with raised hope be clear that the compassionate job is not inheritance as you expressed. There is no ancestral claim on any Govt post.

Your chaces of getting job with your mother being Govt employee are very very bleak. You may not be able to prove uindignant condition of the family better than other applicants.
