I have received a bill from CESC which is the highest. I spoke to customer service but tey insist that I might have consumed. I told them to see my average but they are sticking to their point. The bill is about 4 times higher than the average billing. CESC is the only Powers Supplier in Kolkata and wish to know options open to me:
1) Can I approach legal forum and is so which forum ?
2) Should I approach the forum before paying the bill ?
3) If I pay the bill can I apprach legal forum and recover
the amount ?

Approach Consumer Forum .
Also check if somebody Using ur elec supply.
verify meter readings & your electricity for leakages/ leakage of water in rain, that caused high reading.
If in building of many residents, in pick hrs say 8-10pm, just switch off your main switch near meter, and note who else lost light, with you. catch red handed.
