hello sir, if any adult girl and adult boy was live together in relationship and after one and half year later girl know everything about boy and he is very bad person, like he is alcohlic, smoking and very important thing he beat that girl after drink and abuse her, boy have no respect for girls and womens. girl is graduate but alone, her father and mother is no more. girl want to leave that boy but boy don't leave her and everytime keep eye on her, so in this case how can she get help with police or mahila ayog or any other legal way. plz reply me she is my friend. -sarita

Absolutely - the girl cannot be forced to live with a guy she does not want to be with. Force cannot be used in a marriage leave alone a live-in relationship which is no strings attached.

Lodge a police complaint against the boy as he is subjecting the girl to wrongful confinement.

Even prostitutes have right of privacy and right of modesty of being woman. Simply because she did the mistake of being in live-in with a man (prima-facie not socially welcome) does not mean she has given farewell to her dignity for entire life.
She has all the rights of being ordinary woman.

DV Act Apply.
She can get residence rder, Mtn order, and restrain order, so boy cannot harass or come nr her person/ body. Boy will be ordered to be away from her. & get punishment also
All above Experts had also advised rightly that girl cannot be force to live/ or in wrongful confinement.
Best: Take full advantage of Domestic Violence Act. It will teach good lesson to such boy.
