Direct petition in supreme court of india

(Querist) 01 October 2012 This query is : Resolved
Sir,

Under what provision/ section/ Article of the Constitution can I file a direct Petition in the supreme Court of India?

Can I become intervener in an ongoing case in the Supreme Court of India if the said case could be affecting me also. Like the case of Land Acquisition where some Petitioners are already there having lost in the High Court but I have not approached the High Court and came to know of the acquisition of 2007 in 2012 only.

Please advise.

First challenge the order before the LA cOLLECTOR. Since you were not there in high court, the supreme court may not allow you to intervene.
