Performance of contract

In case there is incomplete performance of a contract can the Performance Bank Guarantee be invoked and impose liquidated damages for the loss incurred due to incomplete performance at the same time. Well I mean to say whether imposition of both is lawful for the same cause.

does the contract contain such a provision ? generally contracts have a provision for encashment of BG and imposition of LDamages in the event of breach of contract
