Clinical trial agreement

In a Clinical Trial Agreement the Sponsor is in USA and the principal investigator/Institution is in India.
Which Law will govern in case the dispute arises? and why that law is governing the dispute?

kindly clarify please...its urgent

For any dispute arising in India the Indian law would apply.
However for mutual dispute you can agree for arbitration in either of the countries.

It depends upon the mutual agreement executed between two otherwise Indian law shall prevail.
