Dear Sir,
I want to purchase a residential land in ghaziabad. There are so many developers and saying that they have get approved the land for residential from Development Authority.
Please help, how can I check the property is approved by Development Authority. Please also provide name of Acts related to this fact.
Can I file RTI in Development Authority to know that this property is approved by Authority.

contact a local lawyer after shortlisting any project . he will do due didligence and advise you accrodingly .
you can ask the builder to furnish copy of building plans approved by ghaziabad development authority . whether building commencement certifcate has been issued etc .

builder is issuing plots. in that case the builder must have building plans approved by GDA.
Can I file RTI in GDA to know this plan is approved by them for development in residential.

yes file RTI if you so desire

RTI is second option. There is no need to move it just for this purpose. Even builders might be possessing the approved plans. Ensure its authenticity from the office of GDA.
