Giving false information for getting ration card

This is an interesting case arising out of a divorce case...
Married in 2000 & settled matrimonial home at mysore, given birth to female baby in 2001, life was peaceful... somehow in 2008 misunderstanding started, wife went to parents house at hydbad and filed for divorce on desertion in 2010.. case is ongoing...
While husband started collecting proofs/evidences etc..on the way he has been informed thro RTI that wife's father ( (Fin law) had applied for ration card (hydbad) and included the names of WIFE & GRAND DAUGHTER in the YEAR 2005 ITSELF WHILE THEY WERE HAPPILY LIVING MATRIMONIAL (HUSB) FAMILY I.E at MYSORE AND ALSO SHOWN THE GRAND DAUGHTER AS DAUGTHER IN THE RATION CARD APPLN ( certified copy got thro RTI)and on this basis ration card was issued and its in force now also.....
I.points are
1. how come a father in law add name of his daughter after marriage and that she is with her husband ?
2. how come a father in law add name of his daughters daughter as if his daughter?
3. all these have happened without knowledge of husband, now husb has got thro rti.
questions are:
1. Can husb file a criminal case against erred father in law? if so... pls advise on section & court (family or civil or sessions)
2. any other suggestions pls

What proof husband has that his spouse and daughter were living along with him in year 2005?or up to 2008 when misunderstanding started between two?

as rationing AUTHORITY, ON WHAT GROUND / PROOF THAT THEY ISSUED R CARD OR INCLUDED NAME OF UR WIFE AND DAUGHTER WHEN THEY ARE IN R CARD OF HUS.
nAMES IN 2 RC AT A TIME??
START WITH THAT.. SO FIL will be in trouble.

forget it . dont complicate your divporce case by opening another battle front . concentrate your enrgies on divorce case

Just inform the authority who permitted incllusion of the name of your wife and daughter at hydbad.He will deal with the matter by filing case against the individual who made an application to include the names.This may add as an evidence for you in the divorce case.

Dear sirs
Thanks for excellent suggestions...
1. Wife in her proof affidavit stated that she lived with husband up to year 2007 at mysore... may we consider her statement itself as proof?.
2. Hope this will help husb in proving that divorce was preplanned in 2005 itself by wife in collusion with FIL/MIL.... (this has been already alleged in counter by husband)
3. I am not sure about ration card authorities will take it seriously... maximum they may cancel the r.card .... authorities will not file case against FIL... after some time FIL will again apply new ration card.. so i feel husb can file case.... and then ration card authority will also be in picture when case goes on....
any advises pls

Idea is to prove pre planning..
