how to be a barrister in india?
I am a student of 5 year law. b.a.l.l.b. (hons). in Delhi recently i heard that there is a exam held in Mumbai and Delhi for becoming a barrister. (bar at law) but even my best efforts i could not find any information regarding this. if there is such exam where is it held? what are the qualifications? and where its training is conducted? etc

There is no such exam anywhere in India.

As per my understanding, you have to study abroad and also to participate in other formalities there in addition to passing of exams, for becoming a Barrister.

Barrister-at-law(Bar-at-law) was acquired by several Indians in days before Independence by appearing for the exam in London after attending the 'Inns of court' in London. Now a days Indians do not require such outdated degree but only a" Bachelor of Law "degree awarded by any of the Indian universities to qualify for practicing law in India which you are already doing so concentrate on your studies to get this status.

in mumbai you have a solicitor exam conducted by bombay incorporated law society not a bar at law exam
