Summons

(Querist) 06 April 2013 This query is : Resolved 
in a case, summons have been ordered to be issued by the Hon. Court. However, it is apprehended that the Defendant will use all tricks to avoid receipt of those summons to delay the case. Please advise what is in the hands of Plaintiff in this situation to avoid such delay.

If he has an email address known to you serve summons by sending an email too.In alternative be vigilent on post man who should report refusal.

In the given matter, Dasti summons should be obtained from the court and the plaintiff should bring the process server with him to the place of defendant and should ensure its due notice immediately.

If regular summons is not served then you can apply for substituted service which include paper publication.

if he avoids there are several ways like , dasti service, pasting, newspaper notice etc.
