Name and spelling mistake in decree

Dear Experts,

If there is a mistake in name due similar names in decree of session/district court how can it be rectified?

E.g. Instead of Madhav typist typed Madhvi

the whole picture is very clear that it should be Madhav.

Apply for it's correction moving an application under
section 152 read with section 151 of the C.P.C.

File an application u/s 152 CPC pointing out the mistakes & get the necessary corrections.

hvae the papers produced before court . mention nature of typographical errors in the precipe . the mistakes would be rectifed by court

This is not a big issue. Move an application under section 152 of CPC before the same court which passed the decree and get the desired results.
