Affidavit

In civil suit there are 2 defendants[party-in person] have to file counter affidavit pl. advcie -

1- what shall be the headings of the affidavit.

2-can both file a single affidavit.

3- should this be attested by advocate.

It is called affidavit. Both have to file separate affidavits. It has to be notarised by an advocate.

1.Heading on affidavits would be same as on suit.And you know already you are filing COUNTER AFFIDAVIT.

2.There can not be legally joint affidavit.Hence two separate affidavits would be required.

3.Affidavits to be filled in courts are required to be verified by oath commissioners appointed by the District judge and not by notaries.
