Can non agriculturist purchase agricultural land

Dear sir,
I am from Maharashtra state.
I am not holding any agricultural land anywhere in India.
As per the rules in Maharashtra Non agriculturist cont purchase
agricultural land. So I cont purchase agricultural land.
Can I purchase agricultural land in any other state of India.
Pl. clarify.

Dear Sir,
Thanks for your reply.
In Maharashtra, as per MLRC code Section 63 non agriculturist is bar to purchase agriculture land.
Can you clarify LRC of Harayana's Section no. by which it is not bar to purchase agriculture land.
And minimum Area to be Purchase yo get statues as agriculturist.
Or any other Conditions to be fulfill.
As per my knowledge in Rajasthan, also Non agriculturist con purchase
agricultural land.
Ts this true.
