Hi sir..I got my passport in the year of 2007 with DOB as 1985..At that time i was unaware of applying according to my 10th certificate.I took a letter from our residential office with wring DOB..
But i continued my studies and done my MCA too..So now i need to change my DOB as 1989 sir..could me explain the procedure sir plz...

You should file an affidavit in court and make a declaration with evidences of actual date of birth.Then the court would give the directions for corrections and passport office would correct it.

generally at time of issue of passport the passport office insist on school leaving certificate . if you had produced the certificate the passport would have disclosed correct date of birth .

how can there be difference of 4 years in date of birth . ?at time of filling in passport form you are supposed to verify all particulars and make correct declaration .
