reason:in laws n husbands physical violence, dowry, mental torture, treatment like maid,badwords about my parents. threats etc..
thrown out of in laws home on 12 aug in mere three months
proceedings done:
1)Bond on rs 500 stamp paper stating we cannot adjust with each other so separating.And they have returned my ornaments n dads money given for the furniture n other.And we cannot file any cases against each other in future. And i will not ask for maintenance n any kind of compensation.
2)Memorandum of understanding:

In spite of being harassed i was told to agree for mutual divorce by my advocate as other proceedings are time consuming, and also it leads to stress n affects mentality of family.

Query:
1)Do i have to wait for a completion of 1yr to complete marriage that is upto may 2014 and for 6 months of separation?

2)When can i file 1st petition?

3)How much time will it take to complete the entire process?

4)my husband has a good job of the 8lakh package annually.can i ask for marriage expenses nw?as Memorandum is ready, we hv signed on registration?
4a)If yes what is the procedure?

5)I have heard dat after filing 1st petition there is a waiting period of 6 months.
5a) Can dat period be waived off?? If so how?

You will have to wait for completion of one year of seperation for filing of MCD. The 6m waiting period after filing cannot be waived. Marriage expenses, maintainance etc are the matters that are to be decided with the understanding of both the parties in MCD.

yes you have to stay separate for 1 year before filing for MCD . 6months waiting period is must . when you file for MCD you have consent terms between the parties which mentions all settlement between parties regarding maintenace , child custody , streedhan etc
