Dear Sir/Madam,
I resigned from a company after working 1.5 years by prior one month notice, reason for resigning i mentioned is to start own business(food court), but after resignation i could not able to start business and joined another company, now they are not giving my one month+4 days salary stating that i had given the false statement and as per appintment rules they are waiving my 2 months salry and asking to pay the balance which is around 6500.
Kindly suggest if they are corret

It is 2 months notice, if we are resigning with out prior notice we have to pay 2 months salary, but while discussing with CEO on resignation, he asked me to give one month notice, and they had never objected me on my resignation which is one month notice

according to you they accepted your resignation without demur . in your reply refuse to pay Rs 6500 and mention conversation with CEO wherein it was agreed you will give one month notice only

But they are saying that i had made false statement by mentioning to start my own food business and joined another company, further the company now i joined is no way compititor to them

you reply to management . mention efforts made to start your business . it failed hence no option bu to join another organisation . any how for rs 6500 they won t file any case

regarding yesterday's query, i had written a mail in a polite manner and apologises for any mistake and requested to wave off the amount and pay me my dues, but they refuesed, i deciced not pay the money they are asking to me, iam i correct???
